The Globe Theatre in the UK gives you a chance to see some of their productions. The plays are fee-based, but there’s free content, too. I saw Twelfth Night, w Mark Rylance, Stephen Fry, and Samuel Barnett, 3 times when it played in NY. It was that much fun!  https://globeplayer.tv

The actor Russell Tovey (Looking) and the gallerist Robert Diament have a podcast in which they talk about art w some interesting guests, including Michael Stipe, Hans-Ulrich Obrist, and Vik Muniz.https://play.acast.com/s/talkart

Another artsy podcast, hosted by Art Agency, now affiliated w Sotheby’s, includes interviews w the Met’s Max Hollein, David Zwirner, Catherine Opie, Maureen Paley, and Sadie Coles, amongst others.https://www.artagencypartners.com/podcast/

Speaking of David Zwirner, perhaps not surprisingly, his gallery has some of the best virtual viewing rooms. https://www.davidzwirner.com/viewing-room?gclid=Cj0KCQjw3qzzBRDnARIsAECmryr-zZqbRxjtGPm2UN9nVmCH4u1xV5HjQdAj1rFZfWBYiDBgwthqw6QaAh0bEALw_wcB. David’s son, Lucas, heads up their publishing program, which features the newly released catalogue for the brilliant exhibition, The Young and The Evil, as well reprints of long out-of-date monographs such as Proust’s writings on Chardin & Rembrandt, or Oscar Wilde writing on the Critic as Artist.https://davidzwirnerbooks.com

Pace has also opened up their online viewing rooms. https://www.pacegallery.com/viewing-rooms/sam-gilliam/

A lot of you have let me know you’re taking refuge in your gardens. The Royal Academy of Arts in the UK has put together a nice YouTube feature on Monet’s gardens in Giverney. It’s short, but well-done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjWx2WNXFF4

** My personal fav: Calling to mind Alexander Sokurov‘s 2002 film, Russian Ark, the 29-year-old Russian filmmaker Axinya Gog filmed a tour of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg in a single 5 hour, 19 min, 28 sec take, using the iPhone 11 Pro. The film is an ad for Apple, highlighting the phone’s longlasting battery life, but it also gives you a look at the museum and almost 600 of the masterpieces in its collection. Five hours to watch a YouTube ad? C’mon, what else have you got to do?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49YeFsx1rIw&feature=youtu.be

And for something new and different, one of our artists, Andrew Fladeboe, received a Fulbright and did this great series of photographs of working dogs on sheep farms in New Zealand. Now he is making a video game inspired by that experience. He has created the Isle of Pan, a photography adventure video game in which you explore a mysterious Island in the North Sea. Armed with only a camera and a magical book, you befriend the strange inhabitants to unlock portals to other worlds. It works for both VR and PC. This requires a contribution, but you'll be helping out Andrew, who developed this: https://ko-fi.com/dogu_. Artists of all kinds are having a very tough time of it right now, and any help we lend them is meaningful. Prints of some of his photographs are still available, as well: https://www.phhfineart.com/artists/andrew-fladeboe
